I'm Liana Jegers, an illustrator in Los Angeles, California, USA.

I make drawings for magazines like Bon Appétit and websites like Man Repeller; zines with Tan & Loose Press and Issue Press; and sometimes other things like t-shirts, stamps, and painted silk scarves.

In 2018 I wrote and illustrated a book as part of a series of activity books published by Octopus Books (UK) titled My Art Teacher, Mr Matisse. You can find it in museum shops and bookstores. Buy it from anywhere except Amazon, please.

In addition to putting pencil to paper, I produce a monthly newspaper called The Smudge with Clay Hickson, where I also write a column titled "In Praise Of...."

My work has been covered by various websites over the last few years [see 1, 2, 3, 4]. Clay and I recently did a long interview with Forge Art Magazine, which you can read here.
